SEGA arcade conversions play a big part in the X68000 library, all of which closely resemble their arcade counterparts, much more satisfactory than SEGA bizarre choice these days to port the Megadrive versions to modern consoles, instead of the superior arcade originals. Available include impressive versions of Space Harrier, Alien Syndrome, Fantasy Zone & Afterburner. The latter title , Afterburner is particularly of note, as it can be played via a mouse for analogue support, but more interestingly the "XE -1ap" flight controller can be used, which was developed specifically for such titles, and can be used on the SEGA Megadrive for Afterburner II, see below.
